WOMEN’S TEAM TO FACE OREGON CLUBS

While OSA’s men’s team will have it’s first weekend without a game this season, the women will have a double header, playing two games in three days against two clubs from Oregon. The first match will be on Friday, June 17 at 7:45pm against the Westside Timbers, the second will be on Sunday, June 19 at 3:00 pm, against the CU Diamonds. Both games will be held at French Stadium in Kent, WA.

These will be the last two games before our ladies go into the final part of their regular season, where they will play all local games with teams from the greater Seattle area, in the run-up to the Regional Finals. As of now the ISC Gunners and Sounders Women are leading the standings. Starting June 28th, OSA FC will play twice (home and away games) against these other two Washington Clubs. The Sounders Women played in the W-league until last summer, and are the favorite team to go on to the Finals.

However, OSA FC is playing well and creating a good bond, on and off the field, and is growing match after match. Unfortunately Nikki Bonnell, an OSA veteran player and team captain, will be leaving the team to move with her family to Austria, head coach Malia Arrant will be able to count on the Italian players that will be fully available: Martina Capelli (who has already played one game), Maria Grazia Balbi and Federica Polverino.

Come out to support our ladies in this double header!!
