The WPSL 2016 season is getting closer daybyday and OSA FC’s women’s head coach, Malia Arrant, is preparing the team for the beginning of the season.
“With the W-League gone,” she said in her last interview, “I think the level of the WPSL league will be even higher than in years past as teams that were in the W-League will likely fold into the WPSL.”

In the past weeks, Malia has been working on the roster. Knowing there will be some Italian players joining the team at the end of their season in early summer, she is still looking for players in the area. “I’m very excited about the upcoming tryouts! There is a lot of talent in the Seattle area and I can’t wait to start putting the 2016 OSA women’s team together! At the upcoming tryouts there will likely be a good base of players from last year’s team, new players coming out that have played at high levels around the country, college players looking to play this summer, and new players that we will find during tryouts!”

So, OSA FC will be hosting open tryouts. Tryouts will be held on:
– Friday, March 11th, 7-9pm @ Starfire Sports Complex, #11 (in the back)
– Saturday, March 26th,  10-12pm @ Starfire Sports Complex, #1 (stadium).
