In the 2016 NPSL regular season OSA FC and Spartans FC will play each other 5 times, two games of which have already been played.

This past Saturday, OSA FC went to Portland, OR to play the Spartans FC. The final score was 1-0 for the home team, while the first game between the two clubs ended in a tie.

These five games will be the most important for the two teams as they will decide who will be the Northwest Conference Champion and, likely, who will qualify for the Regional playoffs.

The rules for qualifying for the playoffs were changed at the beginning of the season so the West Region playoffs will be organized as follows: the first 4 teams of the Northwest Conference and the Golden Gate Conference will make the quarterfinals based on an average points per game (PPG). The average will be calculated by dividing the total points scored by the numbers of games played.

As of last season the Northwest Conference and the Golden Gate one were two separate standings, now the teams from the two conferences will be put together in one standing.
