Big Attendance & Huge Success at OSA FC’s Open Tryouts

OSA coaching staff had eyes wide open taking in the talent on display.

Last Sunday OSA FC held its open tryouts and with over 60 players vying for a spot on the roster Delridge Playfield was buzzing!  Ranged from 17 to over 30 years of age, all players alike strived to show their worth on the field.

Head Coach Paul Aur takes note during open tryouts.

Head Coach Paul Aur stated that, “we’re seeing more talent and higher numbers at tryouts—a clear testament to the growth and value this league has in the American soccer tier system.”

With over 60 in attendance, player’s had to remain focused to do their best.

While coaching staff was extremely pleased with the numbers, they’re torn with only being able to allow 25 players to attend the second, invitational tryout on March 19th. For players born after 1994 and not offered a spot at the invitational, there will be an additional tryout for our Primavera team (u-20 team) in May. Find us on Instagram, Facebook or our website for more information on OSA FC and the Primavera team.

The 2-hour tryout was full of action.
